Blackout at Work

Blackout at Work

No power

We are reduced to the state of animals

Foraging for scraps of food

Drinking the water that drips from the silent air-conditioning ducts

Then killing our weakest ones

Breaking their ankles

So we can leave them at the edge of the elevator

With a hard-scrawled note

Saying please,

Reconnect us
